Ingredients 1 ½ cups sugar 2 cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda dash of salt 2 eggs 2 cups canned peaches, with juice 1 ½ cups packed brown sugar 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Sift together the first four ingredients. Beat in eggs and peaches. Pour into a lightly greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Mix brown sugar and walnuts together and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.

Icing 3/4 cup sugar 1 stick margarine ½ cup evaporated milk Combine the first three ingredients in a sauce pan and boil for two minutes. Add coconut. Spoon icing over cake as soon as it is removed from oven.
